The objective was to create a collage. Created on Photoshop, this piece is a self portrait that speaks to how I feel about the impact of climate change. The symbolism of the fire over the eyes speaks to how society is blinded by the speed and destruction of our planet. From top down the imagery has a apocalyptic feel with dead vegetation and a skull. Towards the bottom the bee, snake and trees represent life and what we are at risk of losing. Color, layout, storytelling, and layer masks are some of the main elements used to create this collage. The dramatic imagery was successful in conveying the intended message of this piece.
